I feel that a mixture of Frank Quitely Clark Kent and Cris Reeve's portrayal of him in the Superman films to be the best disguise. When you mix that up you get a clumsy, head sunked between the shoulders, Bowlegged, slightly stuttering, might of been a nerd in highschool, cowardly Clark. I not only see the confident exterior when he puts on the red, blue and yellow tights but sort of a exhale. The chance for him to breath and be himself. To me Superman is truly who he is.

I could be wrong though...tell me what your thoughts are guys and what ya think.

i think you're spot on dude, i'm with ya. great job on this piece, especially with the expressions!
:iconmichaelharris:
the superman still looks a little awkward and clark-like I think Frank Quitely is doing a good job melding the two on All-star Superman.

I like the observation made by David Carradine at the end of Kill Bill vol. 2.

Similar to what you said, but he says that Clark Kent, being wimpy and bumbling is a commentary by Kal El on us, as a species. Because Superman is so superior to us, he sees us as weak and foolish.

Anyway, keep up with the Supes pics! SUPERMAN!

This is pretty dope man. I loved the Christopher Reeves portrayal of big blue and you nailed it.

AAAAARRRRGGGHH!! How are you so effin' good?
Okay, I love what you did here and I agree with you on the Quitely influence. I think he nailed it perfectly.

I think you nailed it perfectly. It's really hard to draw two characters as one, and to the point make them feel like two seperate characters. Does that make sense?
Anyway, my point is that you pull of the duality nicely, but, you make it possible that they are the same guy.

Way to go! I am really impressed by this piece.
